CRASSH: Women's History Month

CRASSH Winter 2024 brings undergraduate scholars together to demonstrate and discuss the dynamic research and creative projects they are conducting in the topic of Women's History Month.

    Jingyi Chen is a second year Political Science and Data Analytics major. Her research is around spousal abuse and women's legal Consciousness cases from magazines and newspapers in China in the 1930s.

    Isabel Koeppen is a fourth year Communication major with a minor in Human Rights in Migration. Her research is around black women's experience at predominantly white institutions or PWI's with a focus on intersectionality and racial projects.

    Zaira Leal is a third-year transfer student with a Biological Anthropology major. Her research surrounds pre-term birth rates during the early pandemic and if it may reveal a novel occurrence of the Hispanic Paradox.
