In-progress: B.S. Neurobiology

Background: Since a young age, I have been fascinated by science. Growing up in Mexico, I didn't have many opportunities to explore a career in science, which is why UCSD has always been my dream school. I am both excited and grateful to be here, where I can continue to grow academically and professionally. 
Post-graduation journey: I am interested in pursuing medical school, but I am also considering the MD-PhD program. I believe my research experience will help me determine the best path for my future.
A few words about STARTneuro: STARTneuro has helped me become the researcher I am today. Through mentorship and support, this incredible program has guided me through my transition to UCSD and to a career in science.
