Nominate a Student

We are proud to announce the return of the Undergraduate Research Conference (URC), the only campus-wide conference to recognize undergraduate scholars in all fields and provide them the opportunity to present their academic pursuits at small roundtables moderated by an expert in their discipline.

The Office of the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs sent out a notice to all faculty on March 18, 2021, soliciting nominations for student presenters. The notice includes information and links pertinent to nominating an undergraduate to participate in the URC. If you did not receive the notice, please contact Dr. Claire Kim at for more information. The deadline for submitting nominations is April 8.

Frequently Asked Questions

I am a post-doc, can I nominate a student I mentor?

While we recognize that post-docs offer valuable mentorship to undergrad students, at this moment only faculty can nominate students to present at URC. We hope to revise this policy in the future.
